New iPhone 3GS Emits a High-frequency Tone

June 24, 2009 · Print This Article

A new problem has been discovered with the sound files on the sort new iPhone 3GS. The iPhone emits a high-frequency tone (around 15KHz) after playing the unlock sound, SMS sound, etc. Since most folks cannot take in frequencies as high as that,

it has gone unnoticed for a while. However, there is no high-pitched tone when the phone is set to vibrate. We hope that Apple will fix that issue very soon. [BoyGenius]
